The soul’s past and its impact on the present

Two sessions aren’t enough to create a theme, yet still, the similarity between them is very interesting and we can learn things from them about the soul’s past and its impact on the present.

Session One:
This client finds what seems to be her dream job, and very quickly discovers that it’s not “it.”
Something happens, the sparkling lights of the job dim, and work becomes a huge disappointment to her.
Session Two:
Every time this client receives a project, she’s over the moon, but at some point, she starts feeling very sad.
Then either the project is abandoned or she has to make a major effort to finish it.
This is the similarity I found through the karmic constellation:
In both cases, the client’s relationship with her mother is challenging and very complex.
In both cases, there’s a previous incarnation with a story of a pregnancy that was terminated midterm, and in both cases, the mother in the previous incarnation is also the mother in this incarnation.
In the first case, something happened to the mother: She was beaten, and because of that, she miscarried.
In the second case, the mother acted to end the pregnancy, and she succeeded.
In both cases, the experience of the fetus in the womb was that it wants to live, that it has dreams about life, and that it wants to live life to the fullest.
And in both cases, that’s not what happened. Their lives were cut short before they even began.
And this pattern, of lives being cut short before they even begin, repeats and recycles itself in the careers of both clients.
Working with the karmic constellation enables us to recognize what occurred: in the pain of the fetus that was in the womb; in its desire to live; and in the nonrealization of this desire. And from here, this pattern can be stopped from recurring in the current incarnation.
And maybe the beginning of a change in the relationship with the mother can also be created.
Because although the mother who aborted the fetus in the previous incarnation is the same soul as the current mother, she is not our mother, and we are not the fetus that was aborted.
