Soul's relationship with life partner

Their soul relationships with their life partner — that’s what the seven women came to explore at The Spiritual Exploration Lab.
Usually, when we gather for a lab session, I ask for details about the participants, but not this time.
This time, I asked each to state her name, and that’s it.
I didn’t want to know why they came to the lab, because I didn’t want the words to influence the exploration.

We did a very short session for each woman, and they each set up four representations:
For herself, her own soul, her partner (or ex), and her partner’s soul.
I wanted to listen to the conversation between the souls and see what came up.
I didn’t find a common theme in the session. They each had a different story.
What did recur, quite clearly, was energetic entanglement between the “I” and the souls.
In the session, we could see how one side in the relationship took on the energies of the other side and became energetically entangled with them.
This was expressed primarily through the colors of the representatives in the field.
We could also see that there is often a gap between the human experience and the soul experience, and that they’re very different.
In one session, the couple loved each other deeply and were very close, yet their souls were barely interested in each other.
The participant said that it wasn’t the first time she’d had this experience when delving into the soul world.
In another session, the participant experienced her relationship as a constant desire to leave it. She didn’t see herself as a relationship person and found it hard to be in one. Indeed, her representation kept shifting, moving closer and farther from her partner.
Her soul, on the other hand, wanted her partner and felt grounded by him.
There are many reasons behind our choice of partners…
It could be in order to complete karma: something that happened in another lifetime, and we came here to finish, and to fix it.
It could be due to a desire to work together on a particular matter or to create something together, such as a child.
It could be a desire for a specific experience, or a trauma from past lives that connects us, and so on.
In every session I did, I got a glimpse of these options.
The soul choices are many, and they vary. And sometimes, it seems as if there’s no connection between the soul's choice and human conduct.
